23 Sep 2015, by cathhoward in Sponsored events

23 – 25 September 2015

Imperial College London, UK

Funded by the Heilbronn Institute 10th Anniversary Focused Research Grant

The aim of the workshop is to bring together those who are working on the boundaries between homotopy theory and arithmetic geometry, with a particular emphasis on the recent trend of using the theory of infinity-categories, spectra, operads, or more succinctly the methods of stable homotopy theory in problem of number theoretical nature. There will be at least 4 talks of introductory nature, so doctoral students and post-docs are particularly welcome.
