Workshop on Theory and Applications of the Hyperbolic Metric

26 Feb 2016, by ablahatherell in Events

3 – 7 September 2007

Organisers: Dr E Crane

The hyperbolic metric is both a powerful tool in complex analysis and an interesting object of study in its own right. This workshop is intended to serve both as a research conference for mathematicians whose research involves the hyperbolic metric, and as an introduction to the subject for graduate students who wish to learn about it from scratch. The workshop will feature two introductory courses of five lectures each.

Main Speakers:

Professor Alan Beardon (University of Cambridge)
Professor David Minda (University of Cincinnati)
