PROMYS Europe is a partnership between the Mathematical Institute and Wadham College at the University of Oxford, the Clay Mathematics Institute, and the Program in Mathematics for Young Scientists (PROMYS). It is a six-week summer programme at Wadham College, designed to encourage strongly motivated secondary school students to explore in depth the creative world of mathematics in a supportive community of peers, counsellors, research mathematicians, and visiting scientists.

Students returning from earlier years are offered advanced seminars They engage in original research under the mentorship of professional mathematicians. Counsellors and returning students will also organize and present their own seminars and mini-courses.
PROMYS Europe is a six-week residential summer mathematics programme in Oxford for mathematically ambitious pre-university students who are carefully selected from across Europe. PROMYS Europe is closely modelled on PROMYS at Boston University. PROMYS was founded in 1989 by Professor Glenn Stevens. Professor Stevens also founded PROMYS Europe and is the Director of both programmes.
