Congratulation to Rhiannon Dougall
22 Apr 2021, by News inCongratulations to Rhiannon Dougall, Heilbronn Fellow, who has accepted an Assistant Professorship at Durham University from next Summer. Rhiannon has been a Heilbronn Fellow since October 2018, her main research interest is in the interactions between dynamics and ergodic theory, group theory and geometry. More specifically, the thermodynamic formalism for subshifts of finite type, with a view to the geometry of negatively curved manifolds. She received her PhD from Warwick University in 2017 under the supervision of Richard Sharp. Rhiannon’s paper with Richard Sharp in dynamical systems has appeared recently in Inventiones Mathematicae.
We wish Rhiannon every success in her new position!
