Our goal is to bring in strong arithmetic and algebraic techniques into harmonic analysis. This is a highly ambitious project tackling facets of the very active field ‘discrete harmonic analysis’. By combining our expertise across number theory, harmonic analysis and algebraic geometry, we expect that our program will result in several strong, influential research outputs revolutionising discrete harmonic analysis.
