UK research in additive combinatorics and analytic number theory is internationally renowned, and is very strong in dynamical systems and ergodic theory as well. The aim of the conference is to raise the national profile of discrete harmonic analysis, largely by exposing early-career researchers to an exciting and relatively new circle of ideas, in preparation to do research as the field rapidly expands over the coming years.
