Y-RANT is an annual conference aimed at young researchers (PhD students and postdocs) working in or interested in algebraic and analytic number theory and related topics. The conference is a great chance to meet other students from across the country and discuss research and ideas with them. It is also a good opportunity to explain your research work to other young researchers. Y-RANT consists of mostly short talks of around 20 minutes running across two parallel sessions with the intention of providing the opportunity for every conference participant to speak. Participants are actively encouraged to give talks on ongoing research, or even expository talks on areas of interest, targeted at a wide range of backgrounds.
Organisers:
Sven Cats (Cambridge)
Lukas Kofler (Cambridge)
Plenary Speakers:
David Loeffler (Warwick)
Céline Maistret (Bristol)
Jan Vonk (Leiden)
