6 – 7 July 2023 (Hybrid Conference)

Queen Mary University of London (QMUL)

Supported by the Heilbronn Institute Small Grants Scheme

Combinatorics is the study of counting objects and deals with constructing, enumerating and optimising discrete structures. Combinatorics includes graph theory, order theory and matroid theory, and is used in the study of all areas of mathematics; especially in algebra and algebraic geometry. The main focus of the QTMC is to promote retention of queer and trans mathematicians in combinatorics, by bringing visibility to an otherwise invisible minority within mathematics.

Organisers:

Aram Dermenjian (Manchester)
Alex Fink (QMUL)
Érika Roldán Roa (Max Planck Institute)
Kris Shaw (Oslo)
