Focused Research: Geometric Serre Weight Conjectures
25 Apr 2023, by Sponsored events in4 – 8 March 2024
Department of Mathematics, King’s College London, UK
The aim of the workshop was (1) to bridge the (geometric) work of the organizers on the minimal cone conjecture and the (group-theoretic) work of Goldring-Koskivirta on the weight cone conjecture to explore the potential for collaboration. (2) To introduce the existing geometric constructions of theta operators and to explore their generalizations as well as their role in a geometric approach to Serre weight conjectures, with a view to incorporate a richer structure than that of classical theta cycles.
