Congratulations to Aram Dermenjian, Heilbronn Fellow at the University of Manchester, who has been awarded the Research Staff Excellence Award for Best Outstanding Contribution to the Research Staff Environment in the Faculty of Science and Engineering, University of Manchester.

Nominations recognising researcher staff for their achievements, impact and successes were considered by Faculty panels and members of the Research Staff Strategy Group. Professor Andrew Hazel, described “his valuable contributions to improving the research environment for mathematicians from under-represented groups”.
