Research in p-adic groups in the UK was led for many years by Colin Bushnell (1947 – 2021), Professor in the Department of Mathematics, King’s College London. The aim of this conference is to honour his substantial contribution and legacy, to bring together UK and overseas researchers in the area, and to share the many recent exciting developments in the field and prompt new directions for research.
