The London-Paris Number Theory Workshop meets twice per year, once in London and once in Paris. The 35th workshop theme is ‘Algorithmic Number Theory‘. The interplay between theory and computation lies behind some recent exciting developments in number theory. Examples include the L-functions and modular forms database, work of Belabas and Perrin–Riou on computational methods for overconvergent modular symbols and p-adic L-functions, and recent progress on point counting for higher genus curves.
The workshop brings together mathematicians from both cities and nearby universities to learn about recent important progress in diverse areas of Number Theory.
