Congratulations to Jenny Roberts who has been offered a Heilbronn Fellowship at King’s College London starting this autumn.

Jenny is currently a 4th year PhD student in Bristol funded by the Heilbronn Institute and supervised by Dan Fretwell (a former Heilbronn Fellow).  Her current research is in algebraic number theory, studying congruences between modular forms.  Jenny continues to present her work at national and international events, and has been an invited speaker at various Number Theory seminars across the UK.  She was one of the organisers of the 2024 Women in Geometry and Number Theory Spring Retreat which was sponsored by the Heilbronn Institute’s Small Grant Scheme. 

Jenny’s recent paper with Dan Fretwell ‘Symmetric bilinear forms, superalgebras and integer matrix factorization‘ has been published in Linear Algebra and Its Applications, in November 2024.
