Number Theory and Polynomials Workshop

3 – 7 April 2006

Department of Mathematics, University of Bristol, UK

Sponsored by the Heilbronn Institute for Mathematical Research

Organisers: James McKee (Royal Holloway) and Chris Smyth (Edinburgh)

This workshop is the first in a series of workshops sponsored by the Heilbronn Institute with about 50 participants. It covers a wide range of problems in number theory, with a unifying theme of polynomials. The workshop and the proceedings shared the aim of bringing together number-theorists with varied backgrounds having a common interest in problems concerning polynomials. Workshop participants, index of authors and table of contents (extracted from the workshop proceedings).
