A conference to highlight opportunities for interdisciplinary work and collaboration between both mathematics departments in Sheffield and Manchester.

The School of Mathematics at the University of Sheffield and the Department of Mathematics at the University of Manchester share many research interests e.g. algebra, number theory, geometry, etc, and both are home to a number of Heilbronn funded PhD students. The aim of the conference is to build a community amongst PhD students based at both mathematics departments and to establish connections and possible collaborations.
