2025 Heilbronn Doctoral Partnership (HDP) Summer Workshop

The workshop will comprise a mix of example-based case studies, group exercises and presentation sessions, and featured several invited speakers from academia, industry and government agencies who use mathematics to investigate important real-world problems.
The overall aim of the Summer Workshop is to give PhD students sponsored by the Heilbronn Institute:
o a better understanding of how advanced mathematical research is carried out and applied in modern government and industry settings.
o an informative experience different from their routine PhD research activities, and to provide them with a valuable opportunity to learn and practice some teamworking, problem solving, and presentation skills.
