Congratulations to Oli Gregory

Congratulations to Oli Gregory who has been offered a Lectureship position at UCL starting next month.  Oli has been a Heilbronn Research Fellow at Imperial College since January 2023.  His current research is in arithmetic geometry, specifically the area which involves arithmetic conjectures about motivic cohomology, algebraic K-theory and motives.

Oli has been working on his paper ‘The Codimension 2 Griffiths Group of Supersingular Varieties’, and he spoke about his work at the British Mathematical Colloquium (BMC) 2025.  Last year, he secured support from the Heilbronn Small Grant Scheme to organise the successful workshop ‘The Arithmetic Geometry of K3 Surfaces and Related Areas‘ at Imperial College.  The event brought together leading researchers from the p-adic cohomology and Brauer–Manin communities, fostering new collaborations and the exchange of cutting-edge ideas in arithmetic geometry.

We wish Oli every success in his new position and future research!
